Job Description Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable installer with 5+ years of experience installing windows, doors, siding, gutters, and roofs to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas, but not all are necessary. We work in residential and commercial buildings and want to have someone who installs the same way we do so everything is uniform. This role requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong understanding of construction safety standards. We will do on-site job training as necessary.

Our ideal candidate must be punctual, well organized and customer service orientated in order to ensure our customer is happy before, during, and after the project is completed. Candidate must adhere to proper safety techniques, demonstrate self-leadership and accountability and have positive co-worker relationships. Background Check and Drug Screening, contingent upon employment. We meet at our shop in West Bend each morning where you can drive with us to the job. If the job is closer to you than the shop, meeting at the job also works.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Installation of products per manufacturer and Nantz Contracting specifications and building codes
• Perform installation and apply methods determined by lead installer
• Complete interior and exterior trim work
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Loading of materials and pre-installation preparation
• Breakdown and cleaning of worksite areas
• Develop good customer relations and maintain high level of service
• Clean and organize trucks and trailers daily
• Perform the required amount of work in the allotted period of time
• Assist others when necessary (fellow employees and customers)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Familiarity with various types of windows and siding
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
• Possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, have reliable transportation to the jobsite or West Bend shop
• Proven successful experience with home improvement installation.
• Must also be able to read job instructions and record materials on work orders
• High school diploma or GED
• 4-5 years of experience as an installer or in a similar construction role
• Able to work independently and or with a crew
