The Lead Low Voltage Technician plays a critical role in establishing and maintaining electronic security systems for commercial clients. This position involves the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low voltage systems including intrusion alarms, fire alarms, access control, and video surveillance. The lead technician ensures quality service delivery by coordinating with clients and team members while leading field crews and managing job sites efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage systems including access control, fire, CCTV, and intrusion systems
• Prepare equipment and materials based on site design and job requirements
• Document site cabling, equipment, and cable paths accurately using site blueprints
• Configure cloud and IP network solutions for low voltage systems
• Lead field crews and provide jobsite leadership to ensure project success
• Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive attitude
• Perform additional duties as assigned and maintain a clean driving record
• Work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional after-hours work

Preferred Qualifications

• Time management and schedule execution skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with equipment preparation and materials estimating
